Good Morning Douglas and Saugatuck, Michigan.

The weekend in West Michigan was great! The beach was great, the weather was perfect.

The temp today will be in the mid 70's during the day and low 60's tonight, with a slight chance of rain.

Here at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast, it’s a mellow time of the year, the orchards are are ripe for the pickin, the sun is almost on a direct east west path. A great day to walk along the lakeshore, take one of the bikes for a leisurely ride into town and catch a quiet lunch on the upper deck at Coral Gables in Saugatuck and watch the slowness of the river. Looking for something to do, here are a few suggestions...

Catch the sunset tonight, it will be around 8:12, nice living on the western edge of the eastern time zone.

Pick peaches and apples at Cranes Orchards in Fennville on M-89 (you can also grab on of their awesome pies) and at Earl Farm Market on Blue Star Highway in Glenn you can pick Fall Red and Gold Raspberries, fresh tomatoes and sweet corn too.

Citizen Kane is playing tonight, a 1941 Drama/Mystery With Orson Welles, Joseph Cotton and Agnes Moorehead is playing at the Red Barn Theater, 6:30 PM, Blue Star highway, north over the interstate exchange at exit 41, first street on the left and your there.

Breakfast this morning was Cinnamon Orange French Toast, Canadian bacon, Zucchini chocolate bread, fresh fruit salad, yogurt and granola, and of course Italian Espresso organic coffee (yes-free trade too).

Don't forget to check out our calendar of events for September at http://www.sherwoodforestbandb.com/news.html

From all of us here at Sherwood Forest, have a great day.
