Today in West Michigan! Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. South southwest wind around 15 mph.
A ghost has been defined as the disembodied spirit or soul of a deceased person, although in popular usage the term refers only to the apparition of such a person. Often described as immaterial and partly transparent, ghosts are reported to haunt particular locations or people that they were associated with in life or at time of death.
Here at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast, There's no time like today to get out and enjoy the weather..
It's almost carving time.
Why not visit the Haunted Saugatuck Dunes State Park (Try to find the old graveyard) and take a long walk through the woods, (watch for for the Goblins) it will be just beautiful. The leaves are sporting some beautiful colors you won't want to miss. Take a walk along the lakeshore, have lunch at the Elbow Room on Holland Street, beautiful little joint on the river.
U-Pick Still time to pick some (remember the Witch who gave the apple to Snow White-those are her apples) apples, head to Crane's Orchards, just one of West Michigan's U-Pick Apple Orchards (they might have some peaches left), is less than 7 miles from our front door. October picks are Pioneer Macintosh, Cortland, Empire, Jonathan, Ida Red, Jonagold, Matsu, and Red and Golden Delicious. For more info, call 269-561-8651
Breakfast this morning is Cinnamon Orange French Toast, Canadian bacon, Raisin Bran Muffins, fresh fruit salad, and of course Italian Espresso organic coffee (yes-free trade too).
