Good afternoon Douglas and Saugatuck, Michigan

Here at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast, the Trillium are almost done, Dutchman's Britches and Jack in the Pulpit are are still gracing the woods, the leaves on the trees are are so filled with water, you'd think you could tear one and drink for them. Our resident Woodchuck-Woodie or the Great-grandson of Woodie (we spotted him first in 1991), has been really busy with all the old wood scattered around the back yard, the squirrels have had their young, baby squirrels everywhere. Spring time is upon us, Life is good!
Looking for something to do on a rainy day, here's a suggestion..
Visit the Blue Star Antique Mall in Douglas
Visit the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, their current exhibition by artist Amy Reckley is titled Domestic Cyclone.
Head to the The Holland Museum in downtown Holland, The current exhibit is “Thank God for Michigan! Local Soldiers in the Civil War”
Take a long walk along the wide sandy beaches of Lake Michigan and smile at the greatness of the big pond. Why not visit the Saugatuck Dunes State Park and take a long walk through the woods, it will be just beautiful. The trees are just beginning to bud. Take a walk along the lakeshore,
Dinner suggestion..head over to Everyday People Cafe, one of the best restaurants in West Michgian.
