A 10-by-20-foot scale model of the Al G. Barnes Circus —
complete with moving parade and spinning trapeze artists — is on display
through July 22 at the Old School House History Center, 130 Center St.,
Douglas. Admission is free. The detailed display was restored by John Sapita and
is being displayed by his son, Bob, of Douglas. The Old School House is open 11
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays.
