On Saturday September 21 from 10 am-2 pm. Local artists will display their work on clotheslines at Wicks Park (downtown Saugatuck) on the waterfront. This is a uniquely charming small-town event reminiscent of small town America. Bring your children and let his tradition be passed on to future generations.
The Clothesline Art Show is a tradition as old as the art club, starting in 1953, when local artists held an exhibit of their work at the Village Hall in Saugatuck. That exhibit was the start of the art club, which has grown into a local arts organization that supports arts in the schools, an extensive college scholarship program for Saugatuck students that has given over a quarter of a million dollars over the years.
